The purpose of Urban Fauna Doggie Daycare is to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for dogs during weekday business hours. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and of our other guests, we require all of our guests to comply with the following Rules and Regulations.

AGE: All dogs must be 5 months of age or older.

SEX: All dogs must be spayed or neutered.

SHOTS: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof that their dogs received DHLPP, Rabies, and Kennel Cough vaccinations within the past 7 days to 11 months. Specifically the vaccines required are Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, and Bordatella. These shots are more commonly referred to as DHLPP, 5 in 1 or 6 in 1 and could include or have the kennel cough vaccine as a separate inoculation.

HEALTH: All dogs must be in good health. Owners will need to certify that their dogs are in good health and have not been ill in the last 30 days. On admission all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs who have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.

BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will need to certify that their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dogs.

APPLICATION: All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file. There is a $10.00 application screening fee that will be applied to their first visit.

FEES: Due and payable in advance each week.

DAYS AND HOURS: Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This Daycare is not an overnight facility. Your pet may not be dropped off before 7:00 a.m. and not be left here after 7 p.m. unless special arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance.

Staff goes off duty at 7 p.m. and there will be a charge of $10/15min intervals for any pet remaining after 7 p.m.

RESERVATIONS: Required. Preference will be given to pets attending full time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged full fees. Due and payable in advance each week.

It's very important to us that all dogs in daycare are compatible to ensure a great experience for dogs and owners. When you apply for your dog to be enrolled in Urban Fauna Doggie Daycare, we ask that you fill out our application form, which is available in our store and for download below.

Once you have completed your form, please call 503-223-4602 for an appointment. We will set up an interview and you'll be asked to bring in your dog.

This will be a get-acquainted session, we'll ask you a few more questions about your dog's temperament, and your dog will have a chance to play in the daycare area.
